Website Terms
These terms cover use of the ekstruh.dev website. They are not a contract for development work — that is agreed separately.
Who operates this website
ekstruh.dev is operated by EKSTRUH LTD. EKSTRUH is the software development brand used by EKSTRUH LTD for this website and is not a separately incorporated company.
These terms
These terms apply when you use this website. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
They deal with the website itself. They are not a master services agreement, a development contract, a statement of work or a hiring agreement, and they do not set the terms of any project.
Using the website
You are welcome to read this website, and to get in touch about work. We ask that you:
- use the website lawfully and for its intended purpose;
- do not interfere with the operation of the website or the servers it runs on;
- do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its handler or its underlying systems;
- do not introduce malicious code or attempt to exploit the site;
- do not misuse the contact form — for example by sending automated, bulk, fraudulent or abusive submissions, or by using it to send unsolicited marketing.
We may restrict access where the website or its contact form is being misused.
Information on this website
The content here is general information about what we do and the technologies we work with. It is written to help you decide whether to start a conversation.
It is not professional advice — technical, legal, financial or otherwise — and it is not a recommendation to take a particular approach with your own systems. Whether something is right for your situation depends on details that a website cannot know.
Whether a project is suitable, what it would involve, what it would cost, how long it would take and what would be delivered are all matters for separate discussion and agreement.
We aim to keep the site accurate and current, but technology descriptions and third-party product details change over time.
Enquiries do not create a contract
Sending an enquiry through this website, or by email, does not create a contract between you and EKSTRUH LTD.
An enquiry is an invitation to talk. It does not oblige EKSTRUH LTD to take on a project, and it does not oblige you to proceed with one.
If we go ahead with work together, that engagement will be subject to separately agreed terms covering scope, deliverables, timing, commercial arrangements and the other things a project needs to have settled. Nothing on this website fixes those terms in advance.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content, design, layout, text, graphics and code created for this website are owned by or licensed to EKSTRUH LTD and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You may view this website, and print or download extracts for your own reference or to share it with colleagues. Please do not republish, sell or systematically copy material from the site, or present it as your own, without our permission.
This section is about this website. It does not determine who owns anything produced during a client project — ownership of project deliverables is dealt with in the contract for that work.
Nothing here claims ownership of third-party materials, trademarks or open-source software referred to or used on the site. Open-source components remain subject to their own licences.
Third-party names and trademarks
This website refers to third-party technologies including ASP.NET Zero, ABP.IO, Angular, .NET and WordPress, among others.
Third-party product and company names are used for identification and description of technologies we work with. Rights in those names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Reference to a technology does not imply partnership, certification, sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement. EKSTRUH LTD is not an official partner of, certified by, or endorsed by the owners of the technologies described on this website.
Links to other websites
We sometimes link to other websites where they are useful — for example official guidance or documentation. Those links are provided for convenience and information.
We do not control other websites. They have their own terms and privacy practices, which you should read, and their content can change after we link to it. Including a link does not mean we endorse everything on the site it points to.
Availability
We aim to keep this website available and working, but we do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption or free from errors.
The website may be changed, updated, suspended or withdrawn from time to time, including for maintenance, and content may be altered or removed without notice.
Nothing on this page creates a service level agreement or an availability commitment of any kind.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, this website is provided for general information. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on website content alone, without the specific advice or agreement that a real project involves.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights, and nothing here asks you to give them up.
We have deliberately not included a financial cap on liability here. Liability in connection with actual project work is a matter for the contract governing that work.
Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal information sent through this website, and our Cookie Policy explains what the site stores on your device.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or your use of this website, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any such dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of the place where you live.
This section covers use of this website. It does not govern any separate written agreement for development work, which will set out its own terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last substantively changed; it is not updated automatically when the site is rebuilt.
The version published here is the version that applies when you use the website.
