Specialist Frameworks

Four frameworks we work with in depth, each with its own specialist page.

ASP.NET Zero

Specialist engineering for existing ASP.NET Zero applications, where the work is usually upgrading, modernising and maintaining something already in service.

  • Existing and inherited applications
  • Framework upgrades
  • Modernisation
  • Support and maintenance
  • Dedicated engineers

ASP.NET Zero expertise

ABP.IO

Continued development on modular ABP.IO applications, alongside framework upgrades and the module and dependency work that comes with them.

  • Application development
  • Framework upgrades
  • Modular applications
  • Support and maintenance
  • Dedicated engineers

ABP.IO expertise

Angular

Front-end development and version upgrades for Angular applications, including Angular front ends sitting on .NET and other backends.

  • Front-end development
  • Framework upgrades
  • Modernisation
  • API-connected applications
  • Support and maintenance

How We Support Existing Framework-Based Applications

The same four areas of work apply across all four frameworks. Each specialist page sets out what they involve in practice.

  1. Framework Upgrades

Moving an application forward across framework, platform and dependency versions.

  2. Migration & Modernization

Broader architectural, front-end or technical improvement where it is justified.

  3. Support & Maintenance

Ongoing engineering for applications already running in production.

  4. Dedicated Engineers

Additional specialist capacity working within your existing team.

Working With Existing Applications

Most of this work starts with an application that already exists — often one built by someone else, sometimes several years ago, and not always with the original team still available to explain it.

We can assess an existing or inherited application rather than requiring a project to start again. That assessment covers the current versions, the customisations, the dependencies and the integrations around it, and it is what determines whether the sensible next step is an upgrade, incremental modernisation, ongoing support or something else.

Taking responsibility for an inherited codebase follows that initial technical review. Whether we take a project on depends on what the review finds.
